M-E-Health
Our M-E-health service enables you to speak to a podiatrist anywhere, anytime.
Maybe you live out of town. You might be on holiday or working remotely. Maybe you can’t spare the time to drive to our clinic or your condition makes travelling difficult. We get it!
With video conferencing software, you can now get access to expert podiatrists and receive the treatment you need from the comfort of your own home. While not all foot and lower limb conditions can be treated remotely, you’d be surprised at the number that can.
How does a M-E-health consultation work?
It’s simple. Book your private 1-on-1 appointment with an expert podiatrist online or call us on 03 355 9481. We’ll send you an email the day prior to your appointment, which will include a link to the web address for the online session and all the information you’ll need to prepare. And if you have any concerns or questions, we are just a phone call away.
During the session, your podiatrist will discuss your symptoms and goals with you. They’ll be able to diagnose your condition and provide treatment and/or therapy to manage symptoms at home.
Your podiatrist will also discuss the potential causes of your condition to prevent further issues in the future. Any products required to treat your condition can be bought and mailed to you through our online store. Easy!
What can be treated online?
You’d be surprised how many conditions our podiatrists can treat online. Here are just a few:
- Dance Injury Management
- Arthritis & Podiatric Rheumatology
- Cosmetic Nail Solutions/ Cosmetic Podiatry: corns, bruised & damaged toenails, ingrown toenails, hard skin, warts, itchy feet, fungal toenails
- Lower Limb Injury Care & Rehabilitation: arch pain, heel pain, bunions, achilles tendonitis, shin pain
- Footwear Education & Recommendations
- Children’s Foot Health & Development
- Diabetic Assessments & Education
How can we do all of this online?
Our online consultations are run in the same way as in-person ones. We assess your condition, give you structured movement and exercise programs, teach you at-home care and treatment techniques, and more. While hands on treatments have their benefits, they are usually based around short-term pain management. We can get you back to living pain-free easily without ever having to see you in person.
